Blacksmith studio ZWEI in Ibaraki engages in classical wrought iron works(forging),producing architectural hardware and interior furniture. All work is custom-made and tailored to the specific needs of the customers whether they be challenging construction conditions, small-lot production or Japanese/western/contemporary architecture.
Forging is a manufacturing process that involves heating, softening and molding of metals. Put into fire, the surface of metal roughens. It is hammered out to form delicate warp that gives off a touch of personal warmth.
